MY STORY

Lori “Fox” Johnson (they/she), LMT #28049, is a queer, neurodivergent massage therapist and wellness coach, licensed to practice in both Oregon and Washington and the founder of Fox Hollow Integrative Health.

Hi, I’m Fox. I’m a licensed massage therapist, radical-joy coach, and body-liberation-minded practitioner who believes healing is both sacred and practical. My work lives where science and spirit overlap — where nervous-system regulation, muscle mechanics, and sustainable rest practices meet intuition, ritual, and joy.

I’ve lived in Oregon most of my life, and this land shaped me. The rivers, hot springs, and rainy forests taught me how to slow down, soften, and return to myself. Water is my reset button — not a metaphor, but a real place I go to calm my body, clear my mind, and remember my humanity. I bring that same grounded, fluid, steady energy into my sessions.

My background includes 20+ years supporting people through growth, stress, transition, and learning. I blend kinesiology-informed bodywork, nervous-system safety, intuitive touch, and joy-centered coaching to help people reconnect with their bodies in sustainable, compassionate ways.

Increasingly, my work is centered around supporting AFAB folks navigating perimenopause and menopause — helping people build strength, mobility, resilience, and trust in their bodies outside the framework of diet culture or weight-loss obsession. I’m passionate about helping clients care for their changing bodies with curiosity, compassion, and practical tools that support long-term wellbeing, pleasure, and ease.

My work is trauma-aware, fat-positive, queer-affirming, and rooted in liberation. I believe pleasure is intelligence, rest is resistance, and joy is a powerful counter-spell to burnout and systems that grind us down.

Right now, I’m offering mobile massage and radical-joy coaching as I build my next chapter — a brick-and-mortar space in Vancouver and eventually Fox Hollow, a wellness retreat where nature, community, and deep rest meet.

I don’t believe anyone is broken. I believe bodies are brilliant, adaptable, wise — and deserving of ease, softness, and care.
