Radical Joy Wellness Coaching

Radical Joy Wellness Coaching

is a space for people who are ready to return to themselves; not through discipline, shrinking, or self-improvement pressure, but through softness, curiosity, embodiment, and joy.

My work pushes back against the idea that our bodies are projects to perfect, or that thinness, productivity, discipline, or self-denial make us more worthy, more successful, or somehow better people.

You don't have to make yourself smaller to become healthier. You don't have to suffer to prove that you're taking care of yourself. And you don't have to earn your worth through what your body looks like, what you eat, or how much you accomplish.

My work centers folks who are done with hustle culture, diet culture, cis-het wellness narratives, and systems that tell us our worth is something we earn. Here, we honor bodies as they are, identities as they are, and healing as something deeply personal and wildly nonlinear.

You are not a better person because you take up less space.

Why Joy?

Joy is resistance.
Joy is reclamation.
Joy is a birthright.

In a world that profits from our insecurity, exhaustion, disconnection, and body shame, choosing joy is a radical act. We cultivate it slowly through presence, connection, movement, rest, and honoring our bodies and stories. From that place, we build lives that actually feel like our own.Who I especially love working with

Radical Joy is for people of all bodies, identities, ages, and abilities. While I welcome anyone who is drawn to this approach, I have a particular interest in supporting people who have often felt overlooked or misunderstood by traditional wellness spaces.

Who I especially love working with

People in perimenopause & postmenopause

For generations, we've been given remarkably little useful information about what happens to our bodies through perimenopause and postmenopause. So much of what we have been told has focused on appearance, discomfort, or simply enduring it.

I have enormous respect for the women who have fought—and continue to fight—for better information, better treatment options, and the ability to make informed choices about our bodies.

I'm 46. This is my life, and I have no intention of raw-dogging my way through menopause.

My body needs different things now than it did twenty years ago. My bones need attention. My muscles need to stay strong. My joints need support. My energy, nourishment, recovery, and movement all deserve consideration.

And that's what I care about.

I want to be able to carry my groceries into the house. I want to be able to get up off the floor. I want to keep moving, exploring, working, laughing, having sex, traveling, playing, and doing whatever the hell else I want to do with my life.

I care a whole lot more about those things than I do about having a flat stomach or a perfectly smooth face.

This is not about fighting aging.

It's about being well-supported enough to fully inhabit the life that's still ahead of me.

And I want that for you, too.

Fat folks

I practice from a fat-positive, weight-inclusive perspective. Your body does not need to become smaller for you to deserve care, movement, nourishment, pleasure, or respect.

We can work on your health and wellbeing without making weight loss the measure of success.

Hypermobile folks

When your body moves differently, a lot of conventional movement and fitness advice can miss the mark.

I'm interested in exploring strength, stability, body awareness, and movement that works with your body rather than asking you to force it into someone else's idea of how a body should move.

Neurodivergent folks

Wellness advice often assumes that everyone has the same relationship with routines, sensory input, motivation, food, movement, and executive function.

They don't.

We'll look for approaches that actually fit your brain, your body, and your life rather than treating the ways you function differently as something that needs to be fixed.
